Ashlynn is studying transportation at school this month and learned a song about traffic lights. It is sooo up her alley because she loves cars and streets and all that kind of stuff.

Jeremy & Sophia's Wedding
On Saturday we attended the wedding of Jeremy Mo and Sophia Kan. The wedding was a fairly typical one at a church in Monrovia, but the wedding dinner was different from our usual experience. It was a fancy 10 course (mostly seafood) dinner that was held at a huge Chinese restaurant/banquet hall in San Gabriel. It began with dragons dancing to welcome the wedding party to the celebration. Ashlynn and Carter napped at home during the wedding ceremony but Ashlynn came with us for the dinner. She LOVED the dragons, once she got over the loud drums. It was a fun evening!

Just what I need!
The other day Eric was cutting something out for Ashlynn and she expressed her appreciation in the sweetest way. She said, "God gave me just the dad I needed and the very best mom and dad for me!" I love that little girl!
And since I'm posting, here's a picture of the kids on the swing set from the other day.
