Christmas Happenings (part 2)

Christmas was a busy day!

I got up before the kids and got this tree shot.  This year the kids woke up a bit after 7 o'clock, unlike past years when we've actually had to wake them up to get going.

 We started with stockings and the presents left by Santa.

 Then it was time to open gifts.

 Ashlynn (with the help of Papa's funds) got Eric a new car cover and many gifts for all of us.

Such a beautiful day!  This was on our way to Eric's dad's house to open presents with his dad, his Aunt Laurie, Brian, and Brian's girlfriend Anna.

 We came home for the afternoon so Carter could get a nap.  I got a new lens for my camera and tried it out a bit.

 I took this close up of the tree while sitting on the couch.  : )

We went back to Eric's dad's house for Christmas dinner.  My parents and Laurie's friend, Linda, joined us for the evening.
