A family photo before we left for work and Nana stayed with the kids.
On Saturday we had a birthday party to celebrate Carter's big day. We invited a few of Carter's baby friends and their families, along with my parents, Eric's dad, Uncle Brian and Uncle Dave (who ended up missing the party to pick up a friend from Las Vegas, bummer). I had fun decorating with some jungle/ safari animals I made.
Carter and Sareen, Tony and Taleen Boschetti's little girl, make a cute couple. (She's four months older.)

Ohhhh... the cake!
Carter was unsure of the frosting...
and quickly decided that he didn't like it.
Ashlynn liked her cupcakes (and wasn't much of a lady about eating them).
Time for presents!
The party ended with a picture of Carter with all of the ladies. We thought this will be a classic in a few years.
