St. Patrick's Day

This year we had our St. Patrick's Day dinner a day early. We were meeting with our old 4B4W friends on the 17th, so we moved our festivities up a day. Our corned beef cooked for 11 hours in the crockpot, we boiled potatoes, I baked Irish soda bread, and there was Guinness for those who were interested. Corned beef is not something I have to have frequently, but it is tasty (especially with a little fat left on it).
Ashlynn "cheated" a little and dipped her beef and potato in ketchup
Carter led us all in his new favorite game "Do What Carter Does". If you do not participate, he will say your name to remind you what you should be doing. He gets such a kick out of leading everyone. It's pretty funny.

We had some Mud Pie for dessert. Not very Irish, but still delicious!
Ooooo, that ice cream is cold!
Hope you had a great St. Patrick's Day too!

PS- We ALL wore our green on St. Patrick's Day.
