Today we went on a drizzly adventure!Ashlynn's school had a staff development day, so the kids and I went with Ashlynn's friend and classmate, Sophia, Sophia's brother, Josiah, and Sophia's mom (and my friend), Gretchen, down to Olvera Street on the Gold Line train.

It was a bit of a crazy day... which included two trips on the Gold Line train, constant drizzle, kid drama, a dropped taco (followed by kid drama), shopping for "treasures" on Olvera Street, a little bit of Los Angeles history, and more kid drama. I was glad to have Gretchen there to share the adventure!

Jenna loves riding the Gold Line but so far, our biggest adventures have been South Pasadena. We did take it to Union Station once when we were taking the Surfliner south but we'll have to do an outing to Olvera Street one of these days.
