LA Zoo

The kids and I had this whole week of Thanksgiving off work and school (Eric had work on Monday and Tuesday). On Monday, the kids and I met Grace and Joshua at the zoo for a few hours.

The petting zoo was probably the highlight of the visit.  There are some really cool animals to be viewed at the zoo, but it is often more fun to actually touch the animals.

 We also checked out a few of the docent carts.  This rabbit was so soft!

 We spent a bit of time at the reptile house.

 Carter and I love the giraffes!

 Before heading home, we ate lunch while watching the chimpanzees.  These mommas groomed each other while cuddling with their little ones.
