Little Daddy

Carter has spent most of his summer vacation playing with his sister, and most of that time they play scenarios that come from books Ashlynn reads.  Their play has been inspired by American Girl historical doll books, Boxcar Children, and even Rainbow Magic Fairies.  They've played a lot with dolls to act out these stories. 

Yesterday, Carter really started taking care of a Bitty Baby doll my mom bought him from Ebay a while back (and Ashlynn usually pretends is hers).  Carter has read books to the doll, taken him to the bathroom, and taken care of him at night (Carter said that he cried a lot last night).  He reports all the things Baby Dave can do, the places he's gone, and the things he likes.  Apparently Baby Dave can poop on the potty, has been to Yellowstone and likes going roller skating.  

What a sweet little Daddy!

Oh, and I think it is time Carter had a play date with a boy.
